Friday night Scott and Shaina picked up my brother Gerry and his wife Debbie from the airport. We have had the best weekend with them! We went antiquing and shopping yesterday, then out for dinner at the delicious Cheesecake Factory. All the girls got to pick their own cheesecake, and you should have seen Anika's face when a huge piece of cheesecake was presented to her - her eyes were huge! The meal was delicious and we had a fantastic day with the relatives!!
This morning we all swam and laid around in the sun, it was relaxing and fun! For lunch we had ice cream... this is true, and it has indeared 4 nieces forever to their Uncle for thinking of it!! Gerry and Debbie took us all to Cold Stone Creamery where we had ice cream for lunch! It sure feels like we're on holidays!!
My brother and Scott together are more than hilarious, and it's been a long time since we've laughed so much or hard as we have this weekend!
I am happy and relieved to report that I'm finally feeling better, and all the kiddos are healthy now as well!
