Saturday while Scott had 2 of the girls out shopping, the vehicle started making horrible noises, so we didn't drive it for the rest of the weekend. Today he was up by 7:00 to take the truck to the garage, then went for an hour and a half run, then spent the rest of the morning running back and forth to the garage - good thing he has his motorbkike here!!
Turns out it was the alternator, which we had just had fixed in Lacombe about a month ago! It sounds like the Lacombe Shop will compensate for our costs here.
Shaina and Tia were able to have a swim in the afternoon, I kept Anika out as she was still super grumpy and off her food - although she doesn't seem feverish today she must be brewing something. Madie practiced her music, Anika rode her trike - the girls are loving all the cement and the quiet streets here to ride their bikes/scooters!!
The car was all fixed by mid afternoon, and everyone is half healthy, so we were able to get out for a bit! We headed to Scottsdale, which is a trendy area of the City, poked around a mall, ate dinner at 'In and Out Burger', where you can get a burger for 2.00 and fries for 1.65!! Made it home to throw Anika into bed - She has been sooo tired with all our adventures! Last night she was sitting on the couch at 6:40 falling asleep, her head was bobbing around, and she slept until almost 8 this morning.
