This morning, the gym was packed right out - we couldn't even get a treadmill, so we went for a walk instead. Scott made me run...it wasn't pretty...
After a quick lunch we headed for the airshow at the Airforce Base about 5 minutes from our condo. We were not allowed to drive onto the base, so we had to park in a big field and walk over onto the base. It was almost a mile to walk, and there was a huge stream of people. There was an amazing amount of people there! We saw some amazing stunts by the fighter jets, the kids sat in a couple of airplanes, and we saw the 'thunder birds', the American version of the 'snow birds', which was awesome! There were 6 jets flying in formation - it was pretty cool!
When we got home Scott barbequed chicken kabobs, the girls swam, I whipped up a salad and we all ate right beside the pool.
Today was our first overcast, windy day.
We miss you guys so much! Your bro would have loved to be there for the air show today! We actually had snow today...grrrr! Our offer was accepted by the seller and now we wait for the banks decision...could be a long wait. Talk soon...Deb
